Exeter School is the leading co-educational day school in the Southwest, educating over 1,000 pupils aged 3-18. The School is looking to appoint a Marketing and digital officer to commence in July 2025. This post sits within the External Relations department, which encompasses the functions of marketing, admissions, alumni relations, and development. It is a whole-school role, offering the opportunity to work across events in the Pre-Prep, Junior, and Senior Schools.
The post plays a crucial role in developing and implementing marketing initiatives to enhance the school's online presence and brand awareness. This role also includes responsibility for social media and digital content creation for alumni engagement, strengthening relationships with former pupils and maintaining their connection with the school.
Applicants will have proven experience (1-2 years) in digital marketing with a solid understanding of digital marketing principles and strategies. They will be proficient in digital advertising platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads) and analytical tools (e.g., Google Analytics). Familiarity with social media platforms, content management systems (CMS), and email marketing tools is also required.
During term time (36 weeks) the hours of work are 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. During non-term time the hours you will work are 19.5 hours per week over three days each week, the pattern of which will be agreed. Some evening and weekend working may be required by prior arrangement for which time off in lieu will be given. The salary will be £25,998 per annum, (pro-rata £23,359). There are other generous benefits including employer pension contribution, free school lunch during term time, free on-site parking, and use of indoor swimming pool and fitness suite.
